This architectural masterpiece near the village of Kobylí is one of the most unique observation decks in the country. Shaped as an elegant, continuous spiral ramp, it rises gently above the vineyards without using a single step, making it fully accessible for everyone.
From the top, you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the vast vineyards, the Pálava hills, and on clear days, even the distant Austrian Alps.
- How to Get There: The viewpoint is perfectly integrated into the local landscape. You can easily reach it by bicycle via the well-marked Velkopavlovická Wine Cycling Trail, or enjoy a peaceful walk to the top along a network of scenic dirt tracks and shaded forest pathways.
Local Insider Tip (Vrbice Wine Cellar Alleys): From the spiral tower, you can easily continue on foot or by bike to the neighboring village of Vrbice. Located just a short distance away, Vrbice is famous for its stunning, unique wine cellars dug into sandstone and faced with stone, built in multiple tiers directly into the hillside.
During the summer season, many of these picturesque cellars open their doors to travelers, offering not only exceptional local wine tastings but also delicious homemade refreshments, fresh coffee, and various cold drinks.
