Visit Moravian Tuscany

Events

Summer is one of the best times to experience the wine culture of Moravian Tuscany and the neighbouring region, in the South-East of the Czech Republic. From early July until the end of August – and in some places even into September – wine events take place throughout the region, giving visitors the chance to taste local wines directly with the winemakers in their cellars.

What's coming up

Almost every village offers its own version of Summer Open Cellars, and many wineries keep their doors open throughout the season as part of a local “wine service”. In practice, this means that you don’t have to wait for a special event or a weekend to enjoy a wine tasting – throughout the summer, there are plenty of opportunities to meet local winemakers and discover their wines.

If you would like to know what is happening in a particular village or need help finding a winery to visit, feel free to contact us. We will be happy to point you in the right direction.
