If you want to see a true town dedicated solely to winemaking, head to the colourful wine cellar alleys called Nechory near the village of Prušánky, a short drive from Moravian Tuscany. This unique complex consists of over 450 traditional wine cellars arranged into regular streets, forming a literal wine village. The Nechory wine cellar village is also located along a wine cycling trail, making it a popular stop for cyclists exploring the region.

Unlike ordinary settlements, nobody lives here permanently. The entire area serves exclusively for wine production, tastings, and social gatherings. Throughout the summer season, Nechory comes alive with traditional folklore events, making it one of the largest and most active wine cellar villages in the country.

If you want to learn more information about these original wine cellar areas, the events or best time to visit them, fell free to contact us.
